EVN deliberately mined the highest grades possible to maximise its margins.
AIS is now mining through what is left (a lot of lower grade mineralisation), so there is no possible way for AIS to do better than EVN was unless they make an exploration discovery.
Golden Plateau seems to be the next big opportunity developing in the pipeline at Cracow, maybe then you'll see a significant drop in costs.
Cracow has done its job for AIS, by generating a source of monthly cash flow and paying down debt which allowed Andre to reshape his board, and prepare for further acquisitions.
Everything from here on in is upside at Cracow, and it will be significant if Golden Plateau holds together.
