It is hard to say because the disruption to supply chains and shortages of skilled people have caused so much time and cost escalations through out the industry and unseasonal wet weather did not help . It is very dry semi desert country , but I have worked there in about 1979 when a big wet occurred and everything slowed right down until the water dried up . STX is many months overdue in hooking up a couple of gas wells in the Perth basin that requires only a relatively small and simple gas processing plant .
The JVP are new and relative minnows in the Cooper Basin and have little choice but to stand in line for services . They don't have the leverage of the Big Boys with the service companies .
It should be soon but really I have no idea . They have repeatedly said they are fully funded to get to production but the share price says the Market might be sceptical .
