Australia should have a Strategic Petroleum Reserve like the USA that stores CRUDE OIL in the ground in the right Geological settings to be retrieved when circumstances demand it.
That does not work unless there is capacity to refine the crude oil.
Our National pursuit of Globalism has had some benefits but has left us vulnerable in so many ways.
