I asked the man at Noosa why the Japanese didn't put up the money instead of PALA.
he said they were not happy . Before his time when I told him that shareholders didn't trust them (pala). And he couldn't tell me how the deal had been scuppered. What a load of rubbish. He should know all about the history of the company.....
Anyway, he said the japs weren't happy to put any more money in. My guess is they don't trust where and how the money would be used. not working for them...otherwise they would be all over the chance to have a bigger bite of the company...as there are so few tin mines on the go, and fewer close to ready to mine. Certainly they want the tin.
soon they will need more money. And meantime they pay PALA 12% interest..paid out of the money they lent them.
And to start the mine, will take more money...plenty more. They MUST get a new cornerstone investor, and that could be tough. Thank god for ACORN keeping tabs on things. ( I hope )
