There were some cryptic clues in the regional drilling report!
They drilled 6,000 m and sent off in excess of 2,300 samples, consisting of 3m composite samples and 1m samples where the 3m samples showed evidence of geochemical anomalism!
A quick calculation shows that 1850 x 3m composite samples ( totalling 5,550m) and 450x 1m samples adds up to 2,300 samples and totals the 6,000m of drilling they did. If my maths is correct, this is the only way things can tally up properly.
If so, they drilled 46 holes in total, averaging about 130 m each in depth and on average, each hole contained about 10m of samples exhibiting geochemical anomalism!
And all samples are being tested for gold!!!!!!
It's not definitive but it looks positive.
Results next week and the spot silver price is heading north again.
