Reading through the Quarterly, I realised that I missed gold results and other points of interest. So I've updated my scribblings (red) on their diagram below.
Note where all the gold intercepts and assays are in relation to the Dyke trends. Again, the gold is the hidden message here. There has to be a source for it. This supports the hydrothermal fluid flow theory that their geologists have been banging on about for years, i.e. the gold flows upwards through the near-vertical cracks creating the dykes trends we see today.
Furthermore, it’s worth pointing out the distinct area of demagnetisation at the top of the diagram which I have highlighted with a question mark (?). This is usually the a result of some kind of hydrothermal alteration connected to a reservoir of molten rock, or magma chamber below the surface of the Earth. To quote IVR:
“… the northeasterly trending structure at the northern limit of this drill program, which is sub parallel in orientation to a number of dykes observed at Paris, has been identified as a candidate for mineralisation. This structural trend extends towards the regionally significant Uno Fault, where it is associated with a demagnetized feature within the Gawler Range Volcanic sequence. This area has recently been the focus of an ultra-fine fraction soil orientation sampling program (results pending) and is in a similar setting to other targets identified for drilling at Investigator’s Uno and Morgans tenements.”
This puzzle seems to be drawing itself. Exciting times!
