    If there is a TO offer it will be a low ball offer I agree. But only at this stage...

    JP is smart enough to realize that the more he derisks this project and provides the most up to date costing and economics. One that is giant, high grade, and a low impurity resource - As you say world class - the better the offer will be.

    When the DFS comes out in August people will know what they are getting and a premium will be in order.

    On this occasion I believe the numbers were good but could be much better. Giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one for sure. But hey, glass half full.

    If it blows out again then sure we can criticize but imo it's too early to call that.

    Who knows...
    - Galan hiring of the SQM vice president and the likes.
    - The Chile NLP
    - SQMs mining concession ending in 2030 subject to negotiation

    We have the right people to strike a good deal following on from the August DFS. I'm sure SQM would be looking at Galan closely and may have slightly better leverage in a deal with one of the biggest lithium producers in the world with a lot of cash to potentially build their own carbonate plant if they so wish.
