Well, with the share price where it is, perhaps the gentleman of whom you speak would prefer we keep his name out of the spotlight. lol

But yes, the person you refer to certainly has much "street cred" in the mining industry. He is a very accomplished individual and I have the utmost respect for both his accomplishments and his expertise. However, that doesn't mean he is infallible. For example, it seems likely he would also have had a hand in choosing Jeneta's predecessor? (And do you really think D.G. was a good pick to lead GRL?) Also, I think IB has bigger fish to fry at the moment in the form of his other company (the mother company of GRL). (I also keep track of ARL but I'm not currently a holder.)

We really don't know whether IB was the driving force behind Narraburra or not because we were never provided with that information. All we can do is speculate who decided on the shift in focus at GRL. But Jeneta is our GM, so (unless there is an announcement I have overlooked concerning whose idea it was) it's probably appropriate to credit her with that decision.

I certainly do hope that the Narraburra decision is vindicated in time (the sooner the better!). And I believe it will be the case. Likewise, one exceptionally good drillhole into a copper/gold porphyry would also provide some vindication.

And yes, I am very interested in NSW. The LFB is superb copper/gold porphyry country. Look at GRL's neighbors. I know that nearology isn't everything but if you wanted to pick tenements based on nearology you couldn't find a better location (IMO, this is where IB's credibility and acumen is clearly demonstrated--kudos to him and the rest of the ARL board/management for choosing excellent ground). GRL is perfectly located between ALK and NCM. So, to me, it just makes logical sense to drill our ideally located copper/gold prospects rather than seek out a rare earth project. It's not like we have unlimited funds.

I'll say it again, I'm not against Narraburra. It's just not the path I would have chosen for GRL. (I would have preferred to focus on our copper/gold projects instead.) But now that GRL has committed to REEs, I am doing my best to learn about them and become knowledgeable on the subject. I've still got a long way to go but the more I read about the subject the more familiar it becomes. I've been very clear that I think Narraburra has potential and, as I stated before, so far so good. But it's still the copper/gold that excites me about GRL.

And as I've previously stated, both my sentiment and disclosure status are clearly shown at the bottom of the page for all to see. If I didn't like GRL and its projects I wouldn't have my hard-earned money invested in it. But that doesn't mean I won't express valid criticism when I believe it is justified. At the end of the day, there is only one reason to invest in a company: to make money. I don't care whether the profits come from Narraburra, Yeoval, Copper Hill East, Lewis Ponds, or another of GRL's projects--so long as they come! And as a shareholder, I am literally betting that they will come.
