Hedging is basically shorting gold, not a great idea atm. I'd be happy with dilution if it's to a cornerstone investor, lock in the cost now and then reap the rewards instead of borrowing from future profits. Getting institutional ownership will also improve investor confidence in the stock; hedging will do the opposite
