I totally agree with Seaemay, the risks to the board of directors would be huge if they pulled a stunt like that (and frankly I don't think that they would even consider it, especially if their shares depended on that price moving skyward!).

There is also the minor fact that the NTG is in no way, shape or form beholden to CXO and they would be required by their own standards and the law to annouce it, never mind the added political kudos of actually doing so.

$ man, respectfully, your dangerously close to talking FUD. I understand your frustrations but this is not the Directors fault and until the NTG does the appropriate checks and balances to satisfy the legal requirements of the MMP, we are just gonna have to wait our turn.
