My interpretation: Interesting - wait for assays and vectors from NIR (http://hotcopper.com.au/posts/18399024/single)to see if they can find the 'core of the system'.

The tone and content of the announcement have to take into account the probable reluctance of Kennecott/Rio to even allow this much to be said. Any conclusions, investment decisions based on what is reported in the quarterly are still IMO high risk and speculative.

Your implied question 'what would the market do now' has perhaps been answered by a steady state reaction today after a weekend's 'scrutiny' of the quarterly.

AZS possibly has enough potential at Alacran to make Promontorio 'just' very thick cream on the cake IMO.
