A lot of people visit online forums to manipulate new traders. If you're smart you'll spot them and avoid them.
There many types of personalities. Some get stuck at a high price and they dedicate years in down ramping that stock just to
feed their ego. Some have no substantial info. to share. They just make big calls(ramping). Some know what they're doing. They strategically change sentiment and manipulate hearts using their skill and knowledge. Some pretend to be experts, some pretend to have insider knowledge.
There are some experienced traders who are confident in their skills. They don't usually do these sort of things.
If you trade mid cap or large cap stocks you do not have to worry about this.
