In case anybody forgot to read pages 79 & 80 of yesterdays' Adelaide Advertiser (which I hardly ever buy), there was one and half pages devoted to Native Title notices for Havilah and Curnamona.
Havilah have staked out another 3500 sq km north of Olary which is mostly where they are now. Interestingly, Curnamona are interested in approx 2000sqkm around Leigh Creek and Maree. (quite distant from the normal stamping ground and there are other minerals around that area)
The hav stake may be something to do with the mmg deal, but the cuy stake bears watching. Anyway, if you thought that the directors of this private company were spending their time thinking about mining something for a change, well think something else. A lot of work has gone into this native title negotiation thing and to me indicates that the company has intentionally decided to remain an explorer for the time being. Maybe they will find something really good and the story will have a happy ending.
