It's just good to now have it cleared up that CoP have paid $26M out of the $39 and that NSE don't have to foot the whole cost for Blatchford. That possibility was causing me a sick feeling in the stomach.
Still, it's hard to see cash position one moment at $50M, then all of a sudden $44M appears in the quarterly and now confirmation that the position will be $40M at end of Q2. What is the justification for that rate of decrease ? I would have thought that if exploration activity was suspended that expenditure would also come to a halt. If a rig is not secured by Q2 say, does that mean cash position would continue to decline even more (at similar rates) ?
Looks like a lot is going to hinge on the next hole or two.
