Perhaps the volume of sells was a result of traders jumping in on Friday trading for FOMO over the weekend.
When Monday arrived and today for that matter, the traders would have to either put up the money for their trade, or sell their parcels into the market. If the SP was falling, these traders would cut their losses and sell - as happened.
In my opinion, that’s what happened yesterday and I expect to happen today. Things will pick up on Wednesday in my opinion.
