Hi Tap I'm not sure if these depths are measured from the Drillship or the ocean floor but there is a 1000Mt of water below the Drillship before they start drilling...I know they are considered shallow wells...
What we do know is the Drillmax was still finishing plug and abandon work at FAN South on the 11th July , then pulled up stumps, mobilised to SNE North, set up operations,spudded and was at TD of 2834Mts by the 7th Aug, I think there were 9 days of actual drilling...that would depend on how much casing was put in among other things...
SAMO may be designed to use as a future producer should they find oil and that could change the casing requirements...
