"Smart’s RoamFree release has generated significant interest in the Freeway Roaming Service from other tier-1 mobile operators. For example, Syntonic is working towards an agreement to support the Freeway Roaming Services with the ‘Bridge Alliance’ − a mobile operator consortium representing 34 premier operators, including Singtel Optus Pty Limited, that has a collective reach of 800 million subscribers. The proposed arrangement remains subject to the completion of negotiations and the execution of formal documentation." (Bold is mine).
