His interest in hemp started about two years ago, when growers from Queensland asked him to process their harvested seed.“They said they would like protein powder and oil — just the same deal again,” Mike says, explaining the products are quite similar to the flax range they produce.“They flew down and we had about six or seven different products. They couldn’t believe some of the innovations we came up with.”Meal, kibble, flour and flavoured oils were some of Mike’s initial hemp ideas.
