At least ESA have expressed interest to partner with SAS and not the other way around. It’s a hell of a lot more promising than SAS having any ‘intent’ of which nothing comes.
This isn’t dead just yet. The ground work is done, funding is just the last piece of the puzzle. I’ve waited this long, let’s see what the next couple years have to offer.
