Im sure we have spoken about this before but incase you have forgotten....... an important caveat of the deal GXY had with Posco was that the Arg gov only allowed it to happen if the proceeds of the deal were spent on developing the rest of GXYs SDV brine lease
and while things are cheaper to do in SA im pretty sure nobody yet has been able to build a Brine op for $200..... GXY are a miner they need to capture as much value as they can from what they invest in....im not sure funding a P1 plant for LPD is going to help there mining plans or see the returns they would get in buying A40 or another mine. Battey makers however need the chems...... we have seen big dollars thrown at the likes of Nemaska only to have that project fizzle on fan fare and bad execution.....meanwhile LPD has been ticking the boxes (even you have to agree with that) LPD is well placed to capture 3 major markets India, Europe and tge Japan&Korean boys........ $50million is not a stretch for any of these guys to sure up chem supply ex china...just a matter of time.
