I only use that when I want to really increase ABV as normal rig is more than enough to light your fireI only do US brews even though both my parents come from Glasgow Scotland and I love a retail single malt really only means its all made in the same distillery.
The Scots made a huge impact in fact they invented the USA industry down south and from Rye to Bourbon will do a Sour Mash as well.
My process is a lot quicker than TIVAN and no EIS required.
This is the book I have I live by got some great stuff in there.
