Shane Warne has become a very rich man. A multi!!!! Why? Because of the professionalism of sport. For him to come out publicly and bag John Buchanan with such a lack of class and tact, just goes to show what sort of character he is. You don't have to be Einstein to read the Warne didn't like the professionalism of Buchanan. The way he analysis the game. The irony of it all is that he is saying that there is no need for a coach (well his puppet master Ian chappell is saying it) when he is about to be employed as a bowling coach himself. Unfortunately Shame accepted all of the money but didn't want to adhere to the rigours associated with being a professional sportsman. He obviously didn't like the extra training, the video sessions and the constant analysis required in modern sport.

Gillchrist is right in what he said. There is nothing to gain by criticising people the way Warne did. Obviously Gillchrist is well liked and respected by his peers. I love it when they say that someone is liked because he is "outspoken" etc. A lot of the times it means that they can be a cancer in the camp. Warne is obviously not the smartest bloke in the world. I suppose you could forgive him for that. But, he lost me when he bagged Scott Muller, with the infamous "can't throw, can't bowl" quote. Wouldn't you just thrive on hearing that in your first or second test. Years of hard work put in to finally achieve your dream only to have a senior player say something so hurtful and confidence shattering. Great role model shane. What goes around I suppose!!
