The EGR process can be used on virtually any one's graphite feed, this nearly reduces any risk of supply.
The other benefits are it is cheaper than existing Chinese produced spherical graphite, offers higher conversion and its by product is a saleable commodity,
Then we have the other option to purify black mass (recycled battery anode) which will enable a product that is currently sent to land fill to be reused in the battery chain.
Unlike some of our peers, EcoGraf has secured an offtake agreement (currently non binding) with Thyssenkrupp for 50% of the companies planned production, I am unaware of any other company being able to achieve this.
