I have no idea how this will play out but..
If you were a hedge fund short silver after watching the GME squeeze unfold and pretty much wipe out an entire fund what would you do given the current silver chatter?
At the very least possibly close my short positions.
Possibly decide to play the squeeze.
Given there are a multitude of players short silver which is different to the GME situation (mainly a single fund) you may want to blink first also.
GME may just have been the appetiser here time will tell.
I have no idea how much powder these guys have so they possibly may get back control but this could also get very real very quickly from here. All IMO
