Just a thought....the DMS shouldn't be a trade off vs. an additional sorter. They should put a DMS in series with the existing sorters. So the sorters work only the DMS reject at a lower rate and hence performing better, with the DMS doing the donkey work first.
an oversize DMS, not trying to be frugal again to flaunt how cheap the installation cost and then regret it for years...
Does it make sense?
1 year of data collection to make decisions.... sounds like a know-how deficit.... hope they start with the changes soon
