Isn't that the whole point? When you buy a share you are saying that the market has got it wrong. It's going to take time and results for the market sentiment to change. Right now people believe the oil price has peaked and we are getting back to normal. But what is normal?

The futures market for LL no longer has a $100 horizon. And the $90 is quickly disappearing. But the $80 Horizon runs till FEB 2024. So it would appear that BYE will have a year and six months of positive. I graphed it. The slope is flattening. The new normal, expected by the futures market, is low 80s high 75s.



For the record I think they are wrong. This is way too low. The reason is simple. Something is going to pop. I feel that Cuba & Sri Lanka are the canaries in the coal mine. They are the first to go. Equipment is being pushed to breaking point and ... well breaking. You can't take the 4th biggest grain export offline and push the price of oil to a sustained $USD80 and expect nothing to break. People are going to want change.

We are heading for winter. The US strategic reserve can't be emptied forever and the mid terms will be final in December. I am hoping that the world can enjoy one last Xmas before we realise collectively that the world before 2020 is gone.
