A quick google search suggests some recent changes in WA in regards land usage and heritage laws may be controversial, but that's an entirely separate issue to the voice. Do aboriginal people have a right to be heard when it comes to new laws that affect them, or not? For a long time they weren't even considered human enough to be counted, and the references to them in the constitution were racist to say the least. Now that we want to put something in there to make up for all those past abuses, people want to complain it waters down 'human rights'. What a joke. Look at the big picture mate, not the quibbles. Do we want to move forward, or back? Anyways. Sermon over.
