The days of miner needing to produce 6% SC to avoid a discount is long gone.
There is nothing wrong with selling 4.5% if a buyer is willing to take it without discounting.
However I do agree with in regards to DSO shipments miners (not just CXO) are becoming an undisciplined group.
But in CXO case they had to shore up the share price with some good new.
Hopefully now CXO only sell contracted tons on term sheets and stockpile more.
