Unfortunately, not one single ton of nickel has ever been exported out of SI. Thousands of kg's samples costing companies millions in exploration and development costs. Maybe PNM will be the first to export, but if history says anything they to will succumb to the corrupt SI Government just when they are ready to start real mining.
Its worth more in the ground then out for the SI Government I'm sorry to say. There government is not sophisticated enough to realise the benefits from mining in there country unlike there pacific neighbour's in PNG. They are short sighted for a quick buck, or bag of money in the car park as history has shown.
