I feel you cut the quote off at the crucial point mate:

"....the Company is reviewing a suitable project in an onshore historical producing field.."

That sort of language is very specific.
I'm not sure how well you know Max, but from what I know of him, he is extremely conservative.
As much as he sometimes cops it here on Hotcopper, IMO the man is very professional and hates to over promise.
I may be wrong, but to write what he wrote in the quarterly like that, suggests to me that the discussions are quite advanced.

As for the the deck clearing with MXO, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here.


It's been an extremely challenging time hasn't it.
Let's hope for all our sakes, that our patience will eventually be rewarded.
