Nothing like the Erin deal.
FAR started talking to Erin 2 years before the farm out was done. FAR farmed in over a year before Erin filed for bankruptcy.
Erin maintained 20% and FAR paid them equivalent of 13 million USD.
I agree its all business and I'm sure the 40% more expensive SNE phase 1 development cost is no accident.
The harsh reality is CNE and The Government don't have the cash to do their own WI atm either.
CNE are trying to raise their line of credit to 1 billion, good luck with that atm, the other went cap in hand to WPL to get their dough.
I know both were clearly surprised at the 40% more expensive price tag as CNE were still quoting sub 3 billion in September.
I'm dead certain the 40% more expensive price tag was no accident.
What I really find quite incredible is that WPL holders think its cool to be spending about 450 million more than CNE have been quoting for nearly 3 years......
