re: Ann: Quarterly Activities and Quarterly C... "Based on work undertaken since the claim was received and having reviewed the evidence that has been filed by
Chameleon to date, Murchison maintains its previously announced view that there is no sustainable, factual basis for theChameleon claim so far as it constitutes a claim for a substantial interest in the Jack Hills or Weld Range tenementsand/or Murchison’s shares in Crosslands".
The way I interpret this is that whilst CHM have no "sustainable claim" there is some acknowledgement that there maybe some claim to be satisfied, that is...
"so far as it constitutes a claim for a substantial interest in the Jack Hills or Weld Range tenementsand/or Murchison’s shares in Crosslands"
So my feeling is that MMX will attempt to settle for a small amount (maybe a bag of gobstoppers or some Chubba Chups) and send CHM away with a pat on the head well before the court date. If it does go to court my sense is that it will not amount to huge amounts.
Other thoughts anyone??
