I have one of those long narrow eskies. 1 metre inside.
I put tow bags of ice and 1/4 full of saltwater.
Kill, de-gill and gut then stright into ice slurry. Leave foe minumum of 5 hours.
I reckon the fish will improve in eating quality by a significant margin.
