I too initially had doubts as to the financial benefits of acquiring a mentoring company. It seemed a bit fluffy and pointless- how could it possibly bring in serious cash?
However, when you think that Human Resources is probably the biggest spend within organisations, getting the most out of staff turns into $$$.
I think the key to AOM is the software platform, and AD1 is all about innovative software. If you watch the demo video on AOM website, you will see how they match people, track and report on progress and achievements.
This produces the kind of data that organisations want/need in order to justify putting the program into place as well as show they are meeting other obligations with their staff.
Much more high tech than saying 'Bob you can tail Dave this week until you learn the ropes' ahahaha
The money will come to us if they can scale this up in a couple of big organisations.
