there is no doubt that Yowie has performed poorly over the years, and chewed up its cash reserves over time. Thats obvious to blind Freddy, so any "armchair critic" and self-professed "expert" can point to that.
As a result the YOW SP has dropped from around $1 when it was spruked by previous mgt, to now a headline price of 5c today. (that being after Cap Returns of 6c I think?)
But YOW investors on HC need to beware - because there is plenty of history in this stock, and plenty of scullduggery in some posts on these YOW threads.
if you go back over the last few years, you will note that one poster (starting with an "F") , no stock held, flooded these threads with anti- YOW bile incessantly. At one point, 50% of the posts were from that non-shareholder.
Then, when the composition of the Board changed -> those incessant posts disappeared!
WHY? its pretty obvious.
Equally, "experts" have been banging-on about the failures of Yowie. I think the SP of YOW has been "massaged" because of undisclosed agendas.
That's why YOW still has Cash Backing of about A$11.7m or 5.4c p/s, plus a business worth say A$10m. No debt.
So asset backing of maybe 10c per share. Again, no debt. Mkt ascribes No value to the business.
One can note that the Chair is moving on, so maybe fresh ideas will come from that?
In spite of these experts on HC, Yowie is generating cash now on a consistent basis it appears.

YOW has a good franchise, and a good message - it just needs people in charge who can take advantage of that franchise and its goodwill value. Plenty of potential.
Prelim Final Report due any time now, so we should get a good idea if cash flow positive trading is continuing.
