I do not know much about EM1, someone in this forum should be a able to answer you better.
I do hear rumours about EM1 saying they often promise things they couldn't deliver (or intention to lie in their ann to make them look good). At first glance to me EM1 has lost their credibility, they cannot be compared to ICI.
