The analog here is that CHL is the strongman, who still able to pull the large and heavy truck (the truck being Covid lockdowns):





But where the analog ends is in the fact that - unlike in the strongman competition where the truck remains a drag - in CHL's case the engine of the "truck" is about to fire into life (i.e., Covid restrictions lifted) and the strongman hops on board for the rest of the ride.

(Bit contrived, I know, but you get the idea)


On a less flippant note, listening to the webcast this morning was the third time I'd heard the CEO (and founder) talk about the business.

The thing that I notice every time is how "on-top-of-the-numbers" he is.
Which is impressive for a business in which the numbers are changing so fast.
But I guess that's to be expected when you own 6m shares and options.


Finally, one feature of CHL's financials - both historical and prospective - which might cause some confusion is that the Revenue and Receipts From Cusotmers will seldom align, due to the following:



So accounting earnings and cash earnings are almost certainly going to differ quite materially, especially until the business reaches decent scale, after which the difference will still exist, but will be less pronounced.

Just something about which to be aware for upcoming results.
