My best advice, as this is a basic and fundamental (but very detailed) part of the industry is to look up the prescription guidelines - it explains for example that less than 1% of MC prescribed is for combustibles - the prescribed stuff tends to be your slow release pills etc etc… for management of pain/accompanying symptoms.

Your responses suggest you literally have no clue but the prescription guidelines may be very enlightening for you - I found it a surprisingly interesting read.
