Hey krusty,
IMO this is exactly what the chart is telling us.
To the extent that you can, shareholders have to trust management, their strategy and their ability to execute.
Makes no difference if you are retail or the big end of town. All aspects of a company's business - products and services, market size and demand, industry collaborations and partnerships, incumbent and emerging competition, funding and revenue growth - sit within these three pillars of competence.
If you go back three years and study Harvest's emergence from Shark Mitigation Systems to SM8 Technologies and from there to Harvest Technology Group you will see a well-defined pattern.
IMO it began in September 2018 when SM8 announced an agreement with California based Noice Industries:
Noice were a specialist security and surveillance solutions firm that provided "autonomous and turnkey surveillance solutions in a wide
range of high security applications from critical national infrastructure installations to terrorism activations, on land and in water."
The Clever Buoy was identified by Noice as "having sensing and surveillance capabilities that can be utilised in their maritime security service offering."
November 2018: SM8 announced that the Clever Buoy Technology was gaining significant interest in the United States for its wider capabilities:
"The Clever Buoy’s capabilities for marine surveillance and security has also been recognized by significant national security agencies. The system’s capacity to integrate with specific surveillance sensors provide the capacity to provide real time data and alerts.
"The Company has recently been incorporated into a submission with strategic partner, Noice Industries, for the National Coastguard and is hosting site visits from highly ranked officials in the USA national security and defense agencies over the coming weeks."
- March 2019: Smart Marine Systems acquired subsea solutions provider Harvest Technology led by Paul Guilfoyle
- October 2019: SM8 Smart Marine Systems acquired Advanced Offshore Streaming.
"SM8 aims to expand AOS’s reach of video streaming to vessels, rigs, platforms and buoys on a global basis as well as continue research and development including the field of artificial intelligence combined with advanced camera technologies which can be deployed into SM8 service offerings and capabilities.
"With further development, the Company believes the AOS software potentially has market application outside the offshore industry including:
• Emergency communications;
• Defense Applications;
• Airline Industry;
• Satellite Applications; and
• Remote land-based communities and operations."
- February 2020: SM8 announced that Advanced Offshore Streaming was to be renamed as Harvest Infinity and that "as part of a group-wide rebranding strategy, Smart Marine Systems also intends to change its name to Harvest Technology Group."
Interestingly, I can't find any evidence that Noice still trade. Notwithstanding, the original Noice Agreement set in train a series of events that culminated in the emergence of SM8 into the company we are shareholders in today - Harvest Technology Group.
The point being that this has all been achieved under a long term strategy designed and implemented under the leadership of Paul Guilfoyle and his Executive Management Team.
Harvest Technology Group now sits on the cusp of delivering its products and services into multiple commercial satellite communication market verticals as well as into the highly sensitive global Defence and National Security markets.
This is entirely attributable to Management, Strategy and Execution.
It's up to each individual to decide where the company goes from here. For mine, the chart is where it is for a reason. It is only a matter of time before both the TA and FA combine to take the company and the SP to much higher ground.
