I was WRONG re: my cash prediction by a fair whack based primarily on NOR not receiving the R&D rebate in the Sep Q. Unlike the Fonz and Doz, I am quite willing to admit any wrong calls.

That said, I did say Amelia was seemingly off the table after getting swept under the rug in the previous Q. And it seems confirmed with NOR latest and greatest partnership. A partnership which is so strong and lucrative, it did not warrant its own ASX announcement. Now why would that be? Because NOR could not spin a material story out of it. As Bottle has highlighted, the use case is farcical. Who came up with that? The guy who wrote the Use Case for the Google article?

Now why have Amelia walked away? They are the ones with a business centred around AI. Have they come to the conclusion that a VoiceMail AI is bogus or that NOR's tech is not up to scratch or in demand. I would say, not in demand. When the Amelia partnership was first announced, the Amelia guy said:
" this partnership will drive measurable business benefits through cost and time savings for Norwood customers, present and future.”

Well guess what? NOR only has 1 customer and they have not implemented the "super-premium service".

So now we get this gem from PO:
"“I cannot recall a time where I have felt more positive about Norwood’s innovation pipeline"

All whilst NOR has:
1. $32k cash at bank at end of Sep Q but an extra $400k + the money burning opportunity known as the new oppies series;
2. nearly halved R&D expenditure Q on Q
3. reduced staff costs by nearly 25%

So who is doing all the programming? Maybe the AI is programming itself. Or maybe the MBA's are cutting code; it might explain the 27% increase in costs there. All chiefs, no Indians.

This dumpster fire continues.
