I disagree. But when you have signed up lots of deals and then you don't have the stocks to fill the orders and shelves, there is nothing left to do. I would say he left out of boredom! Still has a benign eye on the company and will probably return when supply issues are resolved!
There are other companies probably crying out for his connections and sales expertise and as a man of action he would like to be of service rather than sitting around with nothing to do!
