They will need ISO complete before BAE will sign any approved supplier contract with them. Most defence companies require ISO 9001 quality management certification as part of their approved supplier vetting process. So I wouldn't hold my breath for any contract to be announced before then. The only other way to gain an exception would be if the QM from BAE is willing to audit the in house quality process in person, and then obtain a waiver from the commercial team.
