You mentioned there is not much to lose in OSP at 50c or 10 mil MC.
You assume one will take risk to put some money in and then should wait to see the result.
But, the story wont go that way,

One may invest X dollars now at 50c and 10 mil MC, then very soon the company will announce they are running out of money because they are burning 8 to10 mil per year to do nothing. And now, you are invited to participate a share purchase plan.
If you decide to participate, you should put again the same money in and if you decide not to participate, the dilution will destroy your position.

Regardless you participate or not, the dilution would be massive.
Unfortunately, this may happen again every 10 to 12 months.
