Webex is a small part of Cisco. It is ridiculous to say Cisco is dead because of webex. The company restructure time to time,layoff 5-10% employee every year. The problem with webex, they didn't upgrade app and appear to be legacy system. It's work and meet most of business requirement but there are better product out now. Zoom became very popular with covid lockdown and WFH. Microsoft saw the opportunities and quickly catching up the market. In my opinion, Zoom is for students, small scale business, MS team and Webex are for corporate, whatsapp, hangout, signals are for personal user. I think viber and skype are dead. Just google MS team vs Cisco webex/zoom vs cisco, you will know which app is better. here is one for you.
