I am not a 'gamer', so have noted your comments. That said, it is in stark contrast with the research I have done on the life of a game which enjoys global success. An extreme example of this is Age of Empires which has sustained for over 20 years, selling 25 m units with Revenues exceeding US1 Bn. Not for one minute suggesting that AOD will enjoy anywhere near the success of AOE, but my understanding is that the primary reason for EARLY ACCESS is to future- proof the game with the help of the 'early adoptor' gamers. It also provides the Developer with the opportunity to mitigate the Risk of a game not garnering sufficient support towards delivering an acceptable ROI.

Even if we look at Beans, where many investors are already commenting / implying that this Quarter's Revenue spike comes on the back of a once-off windfall, the Company have said it is just the beginning for the Bean game. Refer the presentation today where the future for Beans is outlined.

I remain exremely optimistic about the Global launch of Age of Darkness. Heartened by the fact you have 100 hours of game time with AOD and greatthat you consider it a good game. Let's see how it evolves from here.
