Awesome results today from Kymeta in Tokyo - bitrate of less than 1Mb/s using two way video and audio communication.

For anyone who isn't keeping an eye on Kymeta, they are a US company making big waves with their flat panel mobile satellite dish technology. They recently partnered with UK-based OneWeb to deliver low latency LEO satcoms:

"With the most innovative flat panel antenna in the world, Kymeta is satisfying the overwhelming demand for global ubiquitous mobile connectivity."



Judging from this LinkedIn post, Harvest are working with them. If so, it's a big deal. For obvious reasons.
