I love the focus on bringing in good people but, there comes a time where lack of new hires hurts growth.

The team Ian has built has fantastic pedigree but, they can’t talk to everyone at once. Even bringing in SaaS sales experience might be beneficial or ex consultant caste (given the fact that adoption is a transformational/ operational uplift).

The other option is graduates. Hiring one or two graduates to nest in with the experience of the team would be a great way to organically educate and scale. Hopefully there is an admin load a graduate could lighten as they become more familiar with tech itself.

Just some musings on what I see as a potential hurdle to growth.

Been a horrible week at my work so half tempted to get in touch with Ian myself re job opportunities. I used to grow up thinking I would play for St Kilda, now I grow up thinking “boy, wouldn’t I love to join that team at Pointerra!”
