Selling shares to fund a future purchase at a discount is a no brainer.
There have even rights offers here where the average punter could do that.
The real concern is if Mercer decides their best play, is not to convert but take the cash.
Hastening the need for a raise at an even more depressed price.
From a profit perspective this could be their best option. Picking up even more shares and cheaper than the conversion price.
