A Very good question, ""if you're correct re SGP, then why is A$10m offer being made? Makes no sense!"" only based on 'what ifs' ; viz the lack or reporting from CEO Dawson on Wills, Vs recent trips to Clark and meetings with SGH Directors and potential buyers for the Clark campus, the lack of reporting that SITE OnLine and TESOL Asia closed in 2021, that ex SITE Director Brett McPhee opened his own company in Clark Freeport Zone doing Skills training, (one's contract usually prohibits such things for a period of years) - that SITE have now a GM for Clark camp facilities on site, Ishmail Tahir, hopefully to promote the fairness and transparency of a sale. And the question raised in Clark by a non-Filipino, what is SITE Aust' legal obligations vis a vis SITE Group Philippines agreements. That the Clark staff have sort advice as they haven’t been paid for some time, and any DOLE (Dept. Labor) action, they say, may delay a sale as a DOLE action attaches to the lease for a new buyer. The question that needs clarity, is, who is buying a 17 year lease (that is what's left) of 30 hectares, e.g., Samsung computer chip Plant opposite is 1/8 the size - unconfirmed but the Korean i/c said they paid circa $50 mill for a 30 year lease. So as the chap/investor above previously asked, who is, on behalf of the investors, monitoring the fairness of the sale, and “” Do shareholders get to vote on this atrocious deal? And are senior execs who are shareholders excluded from voting?”” Just seems to be too many unknowns, so far, to be legally sound!
