Hi @BrettMH, I like reading your posts & have been pondering a simple way that might help to reduce the disparity between ACV & cash receipts (aligned with the basic fiscal principle of "what can't be counted really doesn't count").

Instead of ACV being counted from the date that a subscription contract is signed, perhaps Ian should consider changing the ACV start date to when a customer pays their first Pointerra subscription renewal. No doubt it would deflate the currently reported ACV number, however, after the initial ACV correction is made, the ACV /cash receipts lag time would probably reduce considerably.

Just my 2 cents worth.
